Sweet tooth me

on Monday, February 23, 2009

I have always have an unbeatable indulgence for sweet things. Although I have stressed many times that I would like to maintain my weight, I will end up being defeated by my crave for sweet things.

Upon mentioning sweet things, chocolates first come into my mind.IMG_0193I love all kinds of chocolates. To reduce my guilt after eating chocolates, I come out with the two points below:

  • Eating chocolates can elevate one’s mood by triggering the increase of serotonin, which is an anti-depressant and natural stress-reducer.
  • Chocolates contain antioxidants.
  • Chocolates keep you warm in cold nights.

Nah, in fact anything in excess is bad for your health. Its sweetness promotes diabetes besides containing a large amount of fat! But eating chocolate once in a while is not bad after all. :D

Cakes come after chocolates.

IMG_0242Someone mentioned that eating cakes is more important than anything else to me. :P

I wouldn’t deny that I like cakes but of course, I do care for things other than cakes. Haha…

What comes next?

IMG_1153 Deng deng deng deng! It’s donuts…

Anyway, I only eat these things once in a while, much lesser compared to a few years ago. The only thing that is never been far away from me is chocolates. But see, I’m going to reduce my chocolate intake from this year onwards. Wish me luck!

I know this is a completely crazy post. What to do? I’m getting excited and worried (being the latter more). I want to stay at home laaaa.

Down Under

on Sunday, February 22, 2009

25th is just around the corner and I’m all prepared for Australia. I’m neither happy nor sad about it. Many friends had left gradually starting from early February while I can be considered as one of the latest to leave.

What happens last year is going to repeat again this year, with reduced fear and increased familiarity.

It’s just a week away!

on Thursday, February 19, 2009

It’s not hard to guess what I’m going to write here. To be exact, the title of my post should read “It’s just (a week minus one day) away!”

I’m almost done with my preparation to go back to Adelaide: just a couple more things to buy before I could finish packing.

My extra thick hair had been trimmed yesterday and I feel much lighter! The only thing I dislike about it is my shorter than average fringe. Please grow faster so that I won’t look nerd after a week. :D

Suddenly, I think I’m not spending enough time at home yet. My pillow, my bed and my blanket hasn’t had enough of my smell yet. Obviously, I’m not done tasting all the delicacies Penang has to offer. I still enjoy waking up late and those classes(less) days and lastly, I will miss my cosy bedroom.

Nah, it’s not that bad to go back after all. I’m pleased to enjoy back at home. After a good rest, I’m returning to be a better student.

What makes you so lucky?

Stop The Time!

on Tuesday, February 10, 2009

As you and I are aware of, time flies. No doubt, last year December was the happiest month of my holiday. Firstly, it was all the chaos while moving out, and then the long waits at airport before reaching home, work experience in the hospital and finally my trip!

Sadly, it's just about two and a half week away before I need to head down south again. You know what? I'm very very very very very very very lazy to coooooooooooooooooooook, to wash clothes etc. *Sigh!*

一个人,两个人

on Tuesday, February 3, 2009
