Away

on Monday, January 7, 2008

I wonder what I'm doing right now. Or rather I don't know what should I do.
Apparently, I should be studying. Right, no doubt.
BUT, look at me. What am I doing?
Desperate me, I'm online at the balcony AGAIN!
Anyhow, I managed to finish up Unit 1 and 3 today, earlier than I had thought. (Which I think is quite a miracle.) =P

Well, I overslept until 8.30am today. I think I'm not gonna repeat this, hopefully. And look at the way I wasted time. After studying 2 chapters, I found myself (ahem, sad to say...) falling asleep! Luckily, with the help of teh tarik during lunch, I stayed awake for the whole afternoon. ^^

Tomorrow is Registration Day so practically, I will be wasting time queuing up to "daftar" as a student for ONE MONTH. I think I will be going around lunch time so that I can get cheap meal at AUSMAT cafe. ~Woohoo~ Bad news, we need to go back to INTEC at around 4pm again to meet the not-so-responsible-yet-we-need-to-bear-with-person. I'm still reluctant to mention her name here.

My first subject is going to start on Wednesday. It's going to be a hectic day with Biology Unit 1,2,3 and Math C1, C2. It's SCARY! Can I make it?

By the way, I think this blog will not be updated until after A-Levels. Arghh! Even my schedule after A-Levels is packed. I will be away for BTN until 2nd Feb and I wonder if mobile phones are allowed during the camp. Haiz, Joyce is going to be away for a long time. Don't miss me ya! =P

Headache

on Friday, January 4, 2008

Seriously, life's been out of my control these days. Things are happening fast, REAL FAST and before I could have a grasp of them, new events are coming on my way.

Old problems have not been solved, yet new problems are appearing. They are all stuck there, like sediment blocking a narrow pipe. I'm so frustrated with myself. I can do nothing but to think and think and think. But after wasting my whole day thinking, I still couldn't come out with a solution. What's happening? Sigh!

I feel like strangling someone, but don't feel like mentioning her name here. She is the cause of all my problems, all the headaches and all the troubles. IF she is more hardworking, IF she sends us the documents, IF she can answer our questions THEN there will be no need for all the worries I'm experiencing now.

I realise that with my laptop here, I will have the sudden surge to online, to write something or to chat with someone. I just couldn't help it. Luckily, my wireless subscription is going to expire on 8th Jan 08. It's a good news, I suppose.

I'm sorry people, I've been disturbing a few of you guys lately. I promise, I will TRY my best to cut down the nuisance. ^^

Till then, ciao!

My Confession

We just received some news about preparations before flying, i.e. measuring blazer, medical checkups, visa application, BTN, psychology test, etc. I’m pretty sure that these will take up approximately 8 days of my remaining time in Malaysia.

Time flies, it really does. I still remember vividly how much I hate being here, how much I wish I could go overseas like some of my friends, and it feels like yesterday when I was still wearing school uniform in PCGHS. Now that leaving is imminent, thousands of thoughts come into my mind. I’m worried. I’m not sure whether I will be able to cope with the completely new environment besides excelling in my studies. I never learn to be independent. I rely on my mum for all the heavy washings such as blanket and bed sheets. I hate cooking and my skill is definitely limited. I turn to my friends when I couldn’t make decision. As a matter of fact, I’m really an indecisive person. I’m forgetful and sorry if I forget your name seconds after you telling me about that. I’ve little sense of direction and I really feel sorry for it. After one and a half year staying in Shah Alam, I still don’t know which direction I should go at KTM station. The only thing that I could remember is the way from Akasia to INTEC and vice versa.

I was a complete noob when I first reached Shah Alam. There was this stupidest thing I had done during orientation week and I told few people about it. I couldn’t differentiate between Cemara and Akasia and I actually entered Cemara only to find out about it when I realized that the staircases are different! I had always follow people back to Penang and I never dare to board the bus alone until recently. Still, I did a ridiculous mistake for heading South instead of North during one of my trips back to Penang. I don’t know why I’m writing all these but these memories flood into my mind just in time for me to jot them down. The bliss I felt the first time I reach home after going to Shah Alam is certainly a lifetime memory for me. We went through a lot, all the way from Shah Alam to Puduraya and there were some problems with the tickets before boarding the bus. By the time we reached Penang, it was already midnight. I did not get sufficient sleep but it was worth all the efforts. Special thanks to Chee Keong, Sheng Yu and Zi Yi, you guys had helped me a lot during my adjustment period for life in Shah Alam. (I know I bullied you guys coz I always asked you people to buy bus tickets for me) And of course, thanks to everyone, including friends in Penang and Shah Alam and my fellow family members for your unconditional supports.

I’m not being sentimental or what. This piece of work is written out of gratitude and thankfulness. I had been complaining for not getting a direct course all these while. I thought I could do better; I thought I should go to somewhere better; I thought this is just unfair. Sometimes I wonder why some people are born with silver spoon in his mouth, and why some get what I wished for easily while I need to work hard for it. Yes friends, sometimes I do feel being neglected and I envy people who own things that I dream for. As I grow up, I realize that there’s always a limitation. I may not get what I want but there are lots of people outside who are dreaming to own what I have! I may not be perfect but in the eyes of those who care for me, I’m just nice. The world may be cruel to me but what’s the meaning of life without these little pebbles decorating the paths I had walked past?

This was the entry I was trying to produce on New Year Eve but the inspiration didn’t come. So here it goes…

INTEC's New Library

on Thursday, January 3, 2008

INTEC's new library is now opened!! WOW!!! Finally, after a long wait...

It's a four-storey building, a big one but unfortunately, their sense of taste is "too good to be true". The only good word to describe its colour blend is "unique". UiTM is rich man!

Bloody Janitors

on Wednesday, January 2, 2008

The janitors cleaned my hostel but it's worth noting that the way they clean was rather creepy.

To clean my unit, they need to:
1. "Take without permission" a few packets of my 3 in 1 Milo. (Interestingly, they left 6 packets for me, should I thank them for their kindness?)

2. Accidentally carry my liquid handwash with them. (Maybe they used that to clean my hostel, or maybe they fell in love with my soap, lol!) GERAM! I bought that liquid handwash not long ago!!

3. Rearrange my study table to prove that they came, and "cleaned" my hostel.

4. Knock down the whole stretch of books while trying to move my table. (Once again, this is to prove their presence.)

5. Take some of my things and put them elsewhere. (Nonetheless, they were too eager to show their existence!)

6. Put some of the rubbish that I forgot to throw on my BED! (This is certainly unforgivable.)

7.Step on all the chairs so that we can know what sizes of shoes they wear.

8.Clean the fan unwillingly. (Because of that, they didn't fix the fan well back to its position and the fan is producing unpleasant noise all this while besides protraying certain degree of danger of falling down.)

The only conclusion that I can draw out is that they clean by taking. Other than that, they dirty.

Everything Starts Now

I'm going back to Shah Alam.
No extra sadness this time, but still there is the usual post-holiday and pre-Shah Alam syndrome. ^^
Come on, this will be the last time, and in fact, the last month I'm going back!

Needless to say, most good students are back at there since a long time ago. I wonder how much they had studied. HOWEVER, I don't regret for coming back COZ I had a good time back at home besides spending quality time with friends and family! =)

It's worth noting that although I'm bringing my laptop back this time, my internet subscription ends on 8th Jan 08, which also means that I won't be able to online so much after that. Who would anyway? My exam starts on 9th Jan 08!

不知不觉,三个星期就这样过去了。是时候继续加油了!! ^^

Energetic,
Determined,
Industrious,
Hardworking,
Convinced,
Confident,
Persevering,
Diligent...
I'm BACK! Back to Shah Alam.
